What we do

AfGH works on broad health and health systems issues with a focus on the quantity and quality of development assistance for health and acceleration of progress towards all the health Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). In the current landscape of UK NGO networks there is no group taking this approach of integrating horizontal, health systems concerns and targeted, disease-specific concerns and applying issues relating to these to aid volumes and aid effectiveness. AfGH is well-positioned to do this, as has been recognised by a number of UK and European NGOs.
