Over 25 years, the increase in total global health ODA has been about six-fold and the donor landscape has changed significantly, with new emerging actors in global health Official Development Assistance - ODA.  International private flows (i.e. corporate donations, philanthropy and other private investments) have also grown significantly.  The complexity of the funding landscape, as well as the need to influence policy development at a European and Global level requires the development of joint CSO recommendations for Financing for Health.


AfGH convenes CSO members at in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands and in Brussels towards the EU, to track financing for health policies, in particular the Development Budgets for Health, innovative financing, as well as policies related to aid effectiveness.
